Girls Get Away

Hello there! I had a 4 day work week last week and loved it. If only I had those every week!!! Friday my dad and I did some running around buying a weed eater and getting a few other things for our yard. Unfortunately my dad sprained his ankle working in our back yard :( He was on crutches for the first day but it seems to be fine now.
Stacy, Kris and I left for Idaho Falls late Friday afternoon and did a little shopping when we arrived and then had a fabulous dinner at the Olive Garden (my favorite). Saturday morning we were up and shopping by 10. Kris & I had to get our StarBucks to give us that extra go power! We shopped all day and had so much fun. I didn't seem to find as much as I usually do but it was great to spend time with Stacy & Kris and have a little "girls get away". We had dinner at Texas Road House before we hit the highway and that was very yummy too. Mike sure loved the leftovers that Stacy & I brought him!
Mike left Friday morning to ref in Whitefish all weekend and got home Sunday night.
I did lots of cleaning on Sunday morning then Aidan and I headed to Georgetown for Alyssa's (Marcie's daughter) birthday party. Of course, once we all got up there it down poured so we made the decision to let the kids fish for a little bit and then head back to town and barbeque at Mansanti's. The kids actually ended up fishing in the rain for over an hour but didn't catch anything.
We have quite the weekend ahead of us ~ Roger is coming to town tomorrow until Monday afternoon so we will be very busy with him. NEVER a dull moment when he's around! Mike organized another bus trip to Virginia City to see the Follies so the bus is leaving Saturday afternoon. It should be a ton of fun ~ I can't wait. Austin is also playing in a baseball tournament this weekend so I'm hoping to catch some of his games.
I finally ordered a new camera and it's supposed to be here tomorrow so I will be able to post pictures again. I have been going crazy without a camera.
Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there.
