Happy March!

Hello there. Hope you're having a good weekend. Marcie had her baby yesterday afternoon. A baby boy ~ Cole weighing 8lbs 11oz and 21 inches long ~ Marcie said he's a whopper! Congratulations to she and Josh. I am excited because they asked me to be his Godmother!
We went to eat at MacKenzie River last night with Leo and then came home and watched a movie. This morning my dad and I went to Anaconda to watch Austin and Aidan wrestle. They both did well ~ Austin took first and Aidan took second. Mike stayed home with Barkley and watched Duke. We all know the world stops when Duke is playing!!! Tonight we are just hanging out watching basketball and being lazy. Not much else going on here.
Hope the rest of your weekend is good.

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary Mom & Dad

Hope everyone's weekend was good. We got a bunch of stuff done around the house on Saturday and then celebrated my parents anniversary at Lydia's. Dinner was excellent.
Today we finally got to watch Austin and Aidan wrestle. Austin took 2nd and Aidan took 3rd. Aidan handled his first loss pretty well ~he tried his best so that's all that matters. The loss will make him tougher! We got to babysit Tocher and Miner for a bit this afternoon and now we're just haning out getting ready for the work week. Actually Mike is watching Duke and some not so nice words are coming out of his mouth right now. Hopefully they win!
Have a wonderful week!

Mike & Miner's Birthday weekend.....

Our weekend was as busy as we had thought it would be. Friday night after the Tech game we met Roger at Hops for a couple beers. He was so excited to see Mike ~ and of course, brought gifts for both Mike and I. I always tell Roger that my favorite player for the Utah Jazz is Kyle Korver so Roger had Korver autograph an 8x10 picture for me it says "Stacey, Happy Valentine's Day Kyle Korver". It was so sweet of him! Mike reffed a basketball tournament Saturday and Sunday so he was very busy with that. Saturday we took Roger to the Deluxe for lunch. Marc, Austin, Aidan, Ashby and my parents met us as well ~ the more the merrier!!! Roger loves seeing the kids. Tech played again Saturday night so Mike was busy doing the radio again. Austin had 2 games on Sunday so I was back at the gym~ unfortunately, his team didn't do well in the tournament (1-4). Sunday night we had Miner's 1st birthday party at Silver Bow. He had so much fun playing with his own cake! Yesterday we ran a bunch of errands and then I had everyone over for dinner to celebrate Mike's birthday (since we were too busy on Friday).
We are heading to Missoula Thursday night to watch the Griz play ~ GO GRIZ!!!
Sunday is my parents 40th wedding anniversary. We wanted to throw a party for them but my dad didn't want one so we are all taking them to Lydia's Saturday night to celebrate. CONGRATULATIONS to them ~ what an accomplishment!!! Mike and I have a long ways to go!
Austin & Aidan have a wrestling tournament in Butte on Sunday so we are looking forward to finally being able to watch them. GO TEAM A&A!!!
Have a great week!

Our weekend in Spokane

We had a great time in Spokane (as always). Thursday night Boo cooked dinner for us and then the Gonzaga game was on so we watched that ~ they beat Portland. Friday Boo and I had our "girls day" lots of shopping and lunch at the Mustard Seed. Mike and Barkley spent the day with Maisie, Greg, Luke & Abby. Unfortunately Luke is allergic to Barkley so that was a bummer. Friday night we all went to dinner at the Shogun celebrating mine, Abby's & Mike's birthdays. For those of you who have never been to the Shogun, they dress you in kimono's & wigs and a bunch of them come out with gongs singing Happy Birthday. It's quite the experience!
Saturday we went to the Davenport (Mike & Marlene's hotel) and had a couple drinks before heading to the Arena for the Zags game. The ESPN crew was in the lobby so Mike got his picture taken with Jay Bilas. Bobby Knight was there as well but he is as grumpy as ever ~ we didn't even try talking to him. A friend of Mike's has connections at the Arena so we were able to watch the game from one of the Suites and drink beer! Unfortunately the Zags got smoked! Barkley and Monte entertained each other the whole weekend so that worked out great.
We headed home fairly early Sunday morning so we could get back and caught up on laundry and all that fun stuff before the work week. We also had Kelly, Krystin and the boys over for dinner.
Austin & Aidan wrestled in Bozeman on Sunday. They each had 2 matches and they both won both matches with pins!!!! Aidan received his first gold medal last night at practice from the tournament the week before. He called to tell me all about it. He's spending the night with us tomorrow night and he's going to bring his medal so I can see it. He also received a dog bone for being so tough so he's going to give that to Barkley. I am so proud of both of them and can't wait to watch them wrestle in a couple weeks.
We have a busy weekend ahead. Mike's birthday is Friday and he's announcing the Tech basketball games both Friday night and Saturday night as well as reffing a basketball tournament on Saturday. Roger will be in town late Friday night because Tech plays Westminster on Saturday night. He has called Mike about 50 times already this week wanting to know what we're going to do while he's here. He'll only be in town about 24 hours and he has about 50 things that he wants to do while he's here. Austin also has a basketball tournament this weekend. Miner's 1st birthday is Sunday and we'll be going to his party that night. And Valentine's Day on Saturday ~ how could I forget??? Thank God for calendars! Mike & I both have Monday off which is probably a good thing to recover from the busy weekend.
Have a great week!

Mike's Hall of Fame Weekend......

We headed to Whitefish Friday night and met up with some of Mike's buddies at The Bulldog, had some beers and a really good time. Saturday we went to lunch at The Bulldog with Dave & Kathie and then later that afternoon we headed to the high school for the pre-game Hall of Fame social. Mike and the 3 other inductees were introduced on the basketball court before the game and were each given a very nice plaque. They had a social at the golf course after the game so that was lots of fun meeting many people that I have heard so much about. And then of course after the social we all headed to The Bulldog once again for a few more beers. It was a great time. Congrats to Mike!!! One other neat thing that they announced at the game was that Mike and his brother Pat are the only 2 siblings to be inducted in the Whitefish Hall of Fame. We got up early Sunday morning and were on the road by 7:15 ~ we had to get back in time for the Duke game at noon. We had Marc, Ang & the kids and Kelly, Krystin & the boys over Sunday afternoon for the Superbowl. I was hoping Arizona would come up with the win but oh well ~ it was a great game. And unfortunately we didn't win much money. Just wasn't our season I guess. Ok forgive me now but I just have to brag up 2 of my nephews for just a minute. Austin and Aidan wrestled in a tournament on Saturday in Helena and they both went 3-0 with 3 pins each! I am so proud of them and bummed I missed it. It was actually Aidan's first wrestling tournament of his career so that's pretty impressive to do so well his frist time. He was in wrestling last year and went to every practice but when it came time to the tournaments he didn't want anything to do with them. I can't wait to see him wrestle. Congrats to Austin and Aidan. We are heading to Spokane Thursday afternoon for a long weekend. We haven't seen Boo & Tom since mid-December and that's a LONG time for all of us to not see each other ~ I think the 4 of us have been having major withdrawals from being apart. We're counting down the hours until we see them. Boo & I are going to have a "girls day" on Friday with shopping, lunch and more shopping ~ we will try to boost the economy with our purchases!!! Mike is going to hang out with his sister Maisie & her kids for the day. Then Friday night we're all going to dinner at the Shogun with Maisie and her family ~ we're going to celebrate mine & Mike's birthdays (Mike's birthday is next week ~ Friday the 13th). Uncle Mike and Marlene are coming to Spokane on Friday so we're hoping they will be in town early enough to join us for dinner. Then Saturday we're heading to the Gonzaga game ~ GO ZAGS!!!! I'm sure we will make a day of it with adult beverages before & after the game!!! By the way, Barkley did well on his first trip last weekend to Whitefish and now he'll be heading to Spokane with us this week. He gets to meet his new cousin Monte (Boo & Tom's puppy) ~ hopefully their house will be in one piece when we leave!!! I sure hope Barkley and Monte hit it off because they will be spending lots of time together!!! Have a great week.
