We had a good weekend ~ Friday night we went to dinner at Mackenzie River with my parents. Saturday morning Austin had a football game so we picked up Tocher and brought him to the game with us. It was a big game for Austin's team cuz they played their big rival from last year. Marc coached them up and they won 42-0!!! After the game we had Tocher, Aidan & Ashby and went to lunch at the Deluxe with my parents. Then we headed home and the kids played in the backyard while we put all our outdoor/summer stuff away. Our backyard looks so bare now but glad we got that done. Saturday night Aidan spent the night and we watched the Griz game ~ they won in over time and then watched Notre Dame barely win. Talk about lots of yelling at the TV. Sunday was a very lazy day watching NFL.
Papa & Grandma bought Baby B's crib & dresser and they arrived today. I'm excited to see them once they're put together but that's going to be a while with the projects that we have going on.
The Griz are off this weekend so we get to stay home again!!! Austin has a game on Saturday morning so we will be there cheering him on. The weather is turning cold so it will be a good weekend to be home watching football again. I'm taking advantage of these lazy weekends!
Have a great week. Get out your warm clothes!!!

Wedding weekend in Sandpoint

Hello there. We went to Sandpoint last weekend for a wedding. We left Friday afternoon and stopped and had dinner in Couer D'Alene at the Olive Garden (one of my favorites). Then headed to the cabin. Saturday morning we all got ready and went to town to watch part of the Griz game before the wedding. We ended up watching the game a little longer than we should have and some of us got dressed in the car on our way to the church and the rest of our group got dressed in the parking lot of the church. It was quite comical. Good thing we didn't get pulled over on our way to the church. It would have been a little awkward explaining what we were doing! Chuck & Kristen's wedding was absolutely beautiful ~ one of a kind! We got up bright and early on Sunday morning and headed home so Mike could be back in time for the Broncos game at 2:15. Papa watched Barkley for us while we were gone and Barkley was very excited to see us when we got home. Thanks Papa! I had a dr's appt yesterday and everything is on track. I'm measuring at 24 weeks, got the flu shot & Baby's B's heart rate was in the 150's. We don't have to travel anywhere this weekend (Griz are at NAU) so I'm looking forward to hanging out around the house. Austin has a football game on Saturday morning so we will definitely be there cheering him on. And I'm sure the rest of our weekend will consist of watching lots of football. I'm also hoping to go pick out the paint for Baby B's nursery.
Have a great week!

Are you ready for some football???

I'm a little late posting for the week but better late than never! We had a busy but fun weekend last weekend. Friday night we went to dinner with Leo at MacKenzie River Pizza then headed to Walmart to buy snacks, pop & beer for the bus trip to Missoula for the Griz game. The bus left Saturday morning at 8:00 and we tailgated before and after the game for a bit. The Griz won 38-0. Sunday & Monday we did lots of things around the house. It was nice having a 3 day weekend. Monday was my dad's birthday so Monday night my mom had his birthday dinner celebration. Mike's dad was in town so he came over last night for a bit to visit. Aidan spent the night and now we're getting ready to head to Austin's first football game of the season. We have a busy day ahead ~ Austin's game, lunch at the Deluxe to get some pull tabs, watch Notre Dame game, then I have Nikki's baby shower this afternoon, then tonight we're meeting some friends at Metal's Sports Bar to watch the Griz game. Mike met with a couple people to look at the furnace and duct work & also someone to look at the stairs project. We have another contractor coming this weekend to look at the stairs too. Then we'll just need to wait for their bids and go from there. Hoping tomorrow is a day of relaxing & watching lots of NFL. Have a great weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Baby B's ultrasound

We had Baby B's ultrasound this morning and it was AWESOME to say the least. We got lots of cute pictures and also had it recorded to a DVD. Baby was sucking his/her thumb at one point. Baby weighs 14 ounces & heart rate was 140. All along I've been thinking it's a girl but for some reason after the ultra sound now I'm leaning towards a boy. Not that it matters because we will be so happy with whatever we get. Mike thinks it's a boy too.
Last weekend we got lots of things done around the house. Friday night we took a ride to Bozeman to check out some baby stuff at Target and then we had a yummy dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings ~ it's one of my favorite restaurants. Making me hungry thinking about it. Saturday night we took my mom & dad and Aidan to dinner at Lydia's and that was delicious as usual. Sunday night we had Kelly, Krystin & the boys over for tacos.
We've decided to get rid of the spiral stairs going up to our bedroom and Baby B's so we're looking for someone to build us normal stairs and we're also looking at getting a new furnace and having the house re-vented to one furnace instead of 2. We've got quite the project ahead of us before Baby B gets here. Wish us luck!
Mike has a bus going to the Griz game this weekend for the season opener so that will be lots of fun. Uncle Mike, Boo & Tom are having a tailgate so it will be great to see them. I'm excited for football season. I think this is one of my favorite times of year. GO GRIZ!
Enjoy the long weekend and be safe!
