2nd Annual Backyard Bash

Well we survived our Backyard Bash. It was lots of fun. We must have behaved this year because the cops didn't show up. I think all the kids had just as much fun as the adults. Austin, Aidan & Tocher spent the night and I finally got them to bed around 1:30am (after everyone left). We were pretty lazy yesterday. We cleaned up from the party and spent the rest of the day hanging out with the kids. We had all of my family over to barbeque hot dogs & hamburgers and then it was time to relax & early to bed.
We don't have any plans for this coming weekend. Summer is coming to an end real quick.
Have a great week and enjoy the warm weather!

Vacation at Pend Oreille

I'm slacking once again on updating the blog ~ sorry! We had a great vacation at Pend Oreille. Mike, Aidan, Barkley and I headed out Friday morning. The weather was nice the first couple days but then we had lots of clouds, wind and rain. However, we managed to keep ourselves busy and have fun! We went to the Saturday market, the Sandpoint craft show, lunch & back to the cabin for uncle Mike, Marlene & Brad's arrival. Mike and Aidan came home on Tuesday morning so Mike could work for a few days then he headed back out again Friday morning. Tom had to go to Spokane to work for a couple days as well so we had a "girls shopping day" in Sandpoint on Wednesday followed by dinner at our favorite mexican restaurant. Thursday night was our "big night out" in Sandpoint playing bingo! It was a blast!!! I'm sure bingo will be on our calendar for next year. Saturday night we went to the Sandpoint Festival to see Clint Black ~ it was a great concert. And it was time to come home on Sunday ~ the week flew by.
When Mike & Aidan were coming back to Butte, Mike noticed the A/C was working in my car so he took it to the mechanic and turns out we had a rock in the radiator or somewhere around there and unfortunately they couldn't fix it right away. The drive home on Sunday was a little long with no A/C ~ thank God it wasn't too hot out. But $628 later, my car has A/C again!
I had a dr's appt. today and everything is going well. My belly measured at 19 weeks (right on schedule). When the dr. was finding Baby B's heart beat she said the baby was moving all over the place ~ very active. I've started feeling little movements now & then ~ very exciting feeling.
We are having our annual "Backyard Bash" tomorrow night and this year's theme is Michael Jackson tribute. Krystin helped Mike pick out his outfit at Goodwill so I will definitely post pictures!!!
Have a great weekend. I'm so happy summer came back and the weather is warm again!!!

Baseball, baseball & more baseball

It's only Monday and I'm already posting for the week. We had a fun & somewhat relaxed weekend. Friday night we babysat Tocher & Miner ~ they even got to spend the night. We had lots of fun with them. We woke up early Saturday morning and headed to Austin's baseball game at 8:00. Krystin picked the boys up after the game and we just hung out til it was time for his next game at noon. Mike & my dad helped Marc lay some sod after the game and Austin & I went to lunch. Then it was back to the baseball field for another game at 4:00. They won all 3 games on Saturday. Aidan spent the night with us Saturday night and we just hung out and watched the Mariners game.
Sunday Aidan & Ashby ran through the hose and played outside. We went to a late lunch at MacKenzie River and then to Austin's game at 4:00 ~ they won and took 1st place. After the game we had everyone over and barbequed steaks. Then it was time to get ready for the work week.
We have a short work week this week ~ we're heading to Pend Oreille Friday morning for vacation for 9 days. We're very excited to be at the lake!
Have a great week!
