March Madness

Hello there! We had everyone over tonight to celebrate my mom's birthday. Her birthday was actually last week but everyone's schedules were a little hectic so tonight was the night to celebrate with birthday wishes and basketball. Asbhy's birthday is Tuesday (24th) and she's been wanting a pinata so tonight my mom surprised all the kids with Ashby's princess pinata ~ they had a blast. Ashby's birthday party is going to be next weekend.
We are definitely enjoying March Madness!!! We've been watching basketball for the last 3 days and will definitely be watching again tomorrow. We are jacked that Duke won and advances to the Sweet 16! I'm happy for the Zags big win as well. Wonder who Mike is going to cheer for North Carolina or Gonazaga ~ his 2 least favorite teams play each other!!!
Austin and Aidan wrestled in Boulder today and Austin took first and Aidan took second ~ stud boys from Butte, America!!!
Not too much else going on with us. Just basketball, basketball and more basketball.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hello there. Hope your weekend was good! Boo, Tom & Kelsey spent a couple nights with us and it was great to see them. My mom's birthday was on Friday so we all went to lunch at Metal's to celebrate and then we headed to The Sports Arena to see Mike.
Last night Mike, my mom and I went to the Class AA girls championship game to watch Butte High but unfortunately they weren't able to pull it off.
Today we watched Duke win the ACC championship so that was exciting. Now we're looking forward to all the games starting Thursday!!! March Madness!!!
Austin and Aidan wrestled in a State tournament in Great Falls so Marc and my dad were there with them all weekend. Aidan lost in the championship and then a kid challenged him for 2nd/3rd and he lost that match 12-11 ~ bummer!!! So Aidan ended up with 3rd ~ GOOD JOB AIDAN. Austin went undefeated and is the State Champ!!! GREAT JOB AUSTIN!

Quiet weekend.....

Hello there. It was a pretty quiet weekend for me. Mike was in Whitefish reffing a junior high basketball tournament so it was just Barkley and I hanging out. Friday night I went to dinner with Marc, Ang and Ashby at MacKenzie River then Ashby came home with me and we had a "girls night". Saturday morning Krystin, Ashby and I went to a bridal shower for a cousin of mine who is getting married in June. Saturday night Kelly, Krystin, the boys and I went to the Class A girls basketball championship game which was a blowout. Anaconda won.
This morning I went to church and then watched the Duke/North Carolina game. Unfortunately Duke lost. I have to admit that Mike has turned me in to a Duke fan. I can honestly say that's the only team of his that I would consider cheering for!!!
Kelly, Krystin, the boys and my parents came over for dinner tonight (chicken fajitas). Now I'm just hanging out watching the Gonzaga game and waiting for Mike to get home from Whitefish.
Boo and Tom are going to come to town Thursday night and stay with us for a couple days so that should be lots of fun. Might give me an excuse to take Friday off!
