Happy 2009!!!

Hope everyone had as wonderful of a Christmas as we did. Austin, Aidan, Ashby, Tocher and Miner were all spoiled by Santa Claus ~ they all had so much fun opening all their presents. Our holiday was very relaxing which was so nice ~ I even got Mike to watch 3 movies ~ that's a record!!!
Friday night Mike & I and my cousin Neil went to the Vu to have pizza and visit Kelly while he was bartending and Dani, Jory, Kyle, Parker & Karen joined us ~ we had a good time. Saturday night we had dinner at Barclay's for our anniversary and it was delicious.
And Sunday, is a whole other story, all of our NFL teams lost and didn't make it to the playoffs. We have decided to cheer for the Titans for the rest of the season.
Monday, I took Austin & Aidan sleigh riding up at Tech with Marcie, Alyssa, Cade and some of the Thatcher kids ~ they had a blast.
We are going to celebrate New Year's Eve at home watching all the bowl games. Have a wonderful New Year's ~ wishing you all the best in 2009!

The Griz didn't win but.....

we still had a great time in Chattanooga. Unfortunately Boo & Tom were unable to fly out of Spokane (because of all the snow) so they weren't able to join us. We sure missed them ~ it's just not the same at a Griz game without them. The trip was a great experience and hopefully we'll get the chance to do it again. Congrats to the Griz on a GREAT season.
Christmas eve we will go to church and then head to my parents house for dinner and opening presents. Christmas morning we will head to Marc & Ang's to watch the kids open their presents and then meet up with Kelly & Krystin to see Tocher and Miner and all of their presents. All the kids are so excited for Christmas ~ it will be lots of fun.
Our bathroom was delayed a little with our trip to Chattanooga so we need to get it painted by next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the tile guys can start next week.
Our one year wedding anniversary is Sunday ~ I can't believe it's already been a year. Time flies when you're having fun!!! We're going to dinner on Saturday night at Barclay's in Anaconda to celebrate.
I have all next week off so I'm excited to hang out with the kids and some friends that will be in town for the holidays.
We hope all of you have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and hope Santa is good to you.

All aboard the Chattanooga choo choo.....

The Griz won Friday night and guess what???? WE are going to Chattanooga!!!! Wednesday afternoon Mike, uncle Mike, Leo and myself are driving to Pocatello and will stay with my cousin Neil and then Thursday morning all of us (including Neil) will get up and drive to Salt Lake and then fly out to Nashville. We will meet up with Boo and Tom in Nashville ~ Tom rented a mini van and we will all drive to Chattanooga together Thursday evening. Mike is looking forward to the mini van adventure ~ just call us the GRIZwalds!!! There is a Griz party Thursday night at our hotel so that should be lots of fun and Friday is GAME DAY. A special thanks to Tom for arranging the flights so the rest of us could go. He and Boo already had their arrangements made because Cole Berquist promised Boo last February that the Griz would be going to Chattanooga.
We can hardly wait to go. The game is Friday night at 6:00 PM (Mountain Time) so be sure to tune in to ESPN2 and cheer the Griz on to a National Championship. Look for us on TV ~ we will have a sign ~ Merry GRIZmas & Happy New Year 2 All FROM BUTTE AMERICA (with a picture of #19 ~ Colt Anderson).
We didn't do too much this past weekend just because the weather was so cold. We had Marc, Ang and the kids and my parents over Friday night for the game and then once the game was over, we headed to Mike's Christmas party and celebrated the Griz victory!!! I didn't leave the house again until this morning when I had to go to work ~ way too cold out for me.
Have a wonderful week.
GO GRIZ!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday T-man!!!

Friday night we went to Tocher's birthday party at Silver Bow Pizza. He got lots of new clothes and lots of trucks (his favorite).
Saturday morning we headed to Missoula for the Griz game. The Griz got revenge and beat Weber. They are in the semi-finals Friday night at James Madison ~ GO GRIZ!!! The game is on ESPN2 at 6:00 ~ so be sure to watch and cheer on the Griz.
Austin and Aidan spent the night Saturday so on Sunday morning they built gingerbread houses and then Aidan helped me deorate our tree. My shopping is almost done ~ just a few more presents to buy.
It's going to be weird for us to not have to travel this weekend for a football game. Our bathroom should be ready to be painted this weekend so that's what we will be doing. Hopefully the tile will be put in next week.
Have a great week!

Two become one......

Well we started the celebrating Wednesday night with the rehearsal dinner poolside at the War Bonnet and then we had a party at our house afterwards until wee hours in the morning. It was so much fun that we had a slumber party ~ Boo, Tom, Kelsey & their new puppy Monte crashed at our house.

Thanksgiving morning, Mike went hunting and shot a deer. All the girls decorated the train station and it looked absolutely beautiful. Mike's parents arrived in the afternoon and then we all had dinner at my parents house.

Friday was a busy day preparing for the wedding. Krystin looked absolutely beautiful and it was great to see she and Kelly so happy. The trolly picked up the wedding party at the church and took us to the Front Street Station for the reception. Once we hit the reception it was lots of celebrating, dancing and having a good time. I was most excited about Tocher spending the night with us! Tocher and Miner were both troopers throughout the whole weekend.

Saturday Mike, Marc, Austin and Aidan went to the Griz game and the Griz won 31-13 so they have another playoff game this weekend against Weber ~ it should be a good one since Weber is the only team to beat the Griz this year. GO GRIZ!!!

While those guys were at the football game, the rest of us got togther at my parents house and watched Kelly & Krystin open gifts. It was definitely a memorable weekend ~ CONGRATS to Kelly & Krystin!!! It was an honor for Mike and I to be a part of their day.
