Cheyenne & Denver

Hey there. It's almost Friday and I'm finally getting around to posting! I had a blast on my trip to Cheyenne & Denver. Both concerts (Taylor Swift & Kenny Chesney) were awesome. Marcie and I did a little shopping & we decided that it's probably a good thing that I don't know what I'm having because I would have gone crazy buying everything! We did go to Babies R Us to check out the bedding that I found for the nursery and I loved it just as much in person as I did when I saw it on-line. So my plan was to come home and order it so I wouldn't have to pay sales tax but Kelly & Krystin beat me to it ~ they bought the bedding for Baby B's nursery. Sooo sweet of them! Love you guys!
And I've recruited Grandma Pat to paint the nursery so I'm excited about that. I'm sure Papa will be supervising!!!
Mike went fishing on Saturday and on Sunday he cleaned the garage and had the house clean for me when I got home (very nice of him).
Last night I went to dinner with Stacy & Kris at After 5 to celebrate Kris' birthday. And as always, we had a great visit.
Austin is playing in a baseball tournament here in town this weekend so we're planning on watching baseball and just hanging out. The weather is supposed to be warm so that's exciting.
Happy Friday almost ~ hope you have a great weekend!

Summer fun

We sure had a fun weekend. Friday night Aidan & Ashby spent the night. I think Mike pitched about 100 baseballs to Aidan and Ashby & I retrieved all of them. Then we headed to Bonanza Freeze for ice cream cones.
Saturday afternoon we took Tocher & Miner out to Marc's house and all of the kids had a blast on the new water slide toy. Mike even enjoyed it!!! That afternoon we headed to my Aunt Marlene's 60th birthday party. The weather was so hot.
Sunday we did some stuff around the house and then I headed to a Little League baseball game with my parents while Mike stayed home and watched the Mariners. We had my parents and Kelly & Krystin over for dinner. My cousin Lexie was in town and they stopped over Sunday night for a bit. It was great to meet her husband John and their beautiful daughter Ivy.
I had a doctor's appt yesterday morning. Mike went with me and he was able to hear the baby's heartbeat. Baby B's heart rate was in the 150's. A lot of people are telling me they have a vibe that I'm having a girl. Only time will tell!!!
I'm heading to Denver Thursday morning with Marcie's parents for a long weekend. We are going to Frontier Days in Cheyenne and we're going to see Taylor Swift Thursday night and Kenny Chesney on Saturday night. We are going to do a little shopping on Friday at an outlet mall. I'm so excited for the trip.
Mike is going to stay home and take care of Barkley and he plans to do some fishing and floating.
Have a great week.

Folk Festival Weekend

Another busy weekend ~ Austin's baseball games, Mike's parents visiting and the Folk Festival. Friday night I went to Austin's baseball game and unfortunately they lost 7-6 ~ it was an awesome game. Mike stayed home and waited for his parents to arrive and have dinner with them. They headed uptown to the Folk Festival and then my parents and I went and met them after the game.
Saturday morning we went to the Farmer's Market and then Austin played at noon so Mike and I went to the game while his parents headed uptown. Austin's team won 17-0. They were awesome. After the game, Mike and I headed uptown and watched a couple performances at the Original Mine. We had intentions of going back up Saturday night but once we were home we stayed put. We ordered pizza and my parents came over to eat with all of us.
Mike's parents left Sunday morning so we did a bunch of cleaning around the house and garage and then back to the baseball field for Austin's last game of the season ~ they got beat 17-3. Austin played awesome all weekend and hit the ball ~ way to go Austin.
We headed to the Folk Festival one last time Sunday afternoon for a couple hours and then to Mansanti's for dinner.
Not too much going on this week. I had dinner tonight with Kelly & the boys at MacKenzie River so that was fun.
We have my aunt Marlene's 60th birthday party this weekend and that's about all that we have planned. I am looking forward to a weekend of hanging out.
Have a great week.

Time flies......

Wow I don't know where the time has gone but it's been 3 weeks since my last post. We had a great time while Roger visited. We were busy going to baseball games, our bus trip to Virginia City, Mike took Roger fishing at Georgetown and then we had everyone over for barbeque to celebrate Father's Day & Roger's visit to Butte.
The next weekend we met Mike's friend Jeremy and his family at Georgetown and the guys & kids did some fishing. When we got back to town we had a late lunch with Jory, Dani, & their parents. It was great to see Jory. That Sunday night my mom had everyone over for dinner to celebrate Kelly's birthday.
Last week was great because it was a very short work week (2 days) and then we headed to Lake Pend Oreille Wednesday afternoon. Kelly, Krystin and the boys went with us too and it was an absolute blast. Our friends Kyle & Teran came up Thursday night to join us. On the 4th we had a horse race (similar to those that they have on cruise ships) unfortunately our horse didn't win. It was definitely a 4th that we will not forget ~ lots of laughs with family & friends.
Hope everyone had a great 4th.
This week Austin's All-Star baseball team is in a baseball tournament here in town, Mike's parents are visiting from Whitefish & the National Folk Festival is here so we will be very busy.
We've shared our exciting news with everyone that we are expecting in January and can't wait!
Have a great week!

Girls Get Away

Hello there! I had a 4 day work week last week and loved it. If only I had those every week!!! Friday my dad and I did some running around buying a weed eater and getting a few other things for our yard. Unfortunately my dad sprained his ankle working in our back yard :( He was on crutches for the first day but it seems to be fine now.
Stacy, Kris and I left for Idaho Falls late Friday afternoon and did a little shopping when we arrived and then had a fabulous dinner at the Olive Garden (my favorite). Saturday morning we were up and shopping by 10. Kris & I had to get our StarBucks to give us that extra go power! We shopped all day and had so much fun. I didn't seem to find as much as I usually do but it was great to spend time with Stacy & Kris and have a little "girls get away". We had dinner at Texas Road House before we hit the highway and that was very yummy too. Mike sure loved the leftovers that Stacy & I brought him!
Mike left Friday morning to ref in Whitefish all weekend and got home Sunday night.
I did lots of cleaning on Sunday morning then Aidan and I headed to Georgetown for Alyssa's (Marcie's daughter) birthday party. Of course, once we all got up there it down poured so we made the decision to let the kids fish for a little bit and then head back to town and barbeque at Mansanti's. The kids actually ended up fishing in the rain for over an hour but didn't catch anything.
We have quite the weekend ahead of us ~ Roger is coming to town tomorrow until Monday afternoon so we will be very busy with him. NEVER a dull moment when he's around! Mike organized another bus trip to Virginia City to see the Follies so the bus is leaving Saturday afternoon. It should be a ton of fun ~ I can't wait. Austin is also playing in a baseball tournament this weekend so I'm hoping to catch some of his games.
I finally ordered a new camera and it's supposed to be here tomorrow so I will be able to post pictures again. I have been going crazy without a camera.
Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there.

What happened to summer???

We had snow flurries, lots of rain and very cold weather over the weekend. Friday night I went to dinner with my parents at MacKenzie River and then I headed to an Upper Case Living party at my friend Teran's house. Saturday morning Mike got up bright and early and went fishing at Georgetown. My friend Carrie came over and we went to lunch at Christina's. It was great to see Carrie. My cousin Yvette (from Las Vegas) was in town with her family because her daughter's softball team was supposed to play in a tournament here over the weekend. The tournament was canceled due to weather but luckily some Butte teams felt bad that they traveled all this way so they scrimmaged on Saturday & Sunday in Anaconda. So after lunch at Christina's, Carrie dropped me off in Anaconda on her way to Georgetown and I met up with my dad, Austin and Aidan to watch Jordyn's softball scrimmage. Austin was also supposed to play in a baseball tournament over the weekend and one of the Missoula teams still ended up coming and staying at Fairmont so they played 2 games against them yesterday afternoon. Austin's team won both games. We also caught one of Jordyn's softball games before heading to Austin's double-header. It definitely is not baseball weather but it was still fun to watch and great to see Yvette and family. Mike went fishing again on Sunday at Georgetown and I bet you can guess what he barbequed himself for dinner last night?!?!? FISH
Last night we watched the NBA basketball game and got ready for the work week.
Mike is heading to Whitefish this weekend to ref a basketball tournament and I'm heading on a girls shopping trip to Idaho Falls with Stacy & Kris and I can hardly wait! SHOP TIL WE DROP!
Have a great week and pray for warm weather!

Lake Pend Oreille

Hello there. We left Thursday afternoon for a long weekend at Pend Oreille. It was a great weekend and the weather couldn't have been better. It was such a long winter that I forgot how awesome it was to soak up the sun. Tom bought a new boat and it is absolutely beautiful ~ now that he has his new boat he doesn't mind boating Boo and I all over the lake to our favorite destinations. Barkley went to the lake with us and he and Monte had so much fun together. Mike commented that Barkley likes the lake more than we do but I don't think it's possible because I LOVE being at the lake. I am counting down the days until we go again especially since it's cold here today and the forecast for the week doesn't look good.
Mike is having a get together Thursday night at Casagranda's for all the volunteers who helped with his basketball tournament.
Austin is playing in a baseball tournament this weekend here in town so we'll be watching his games and other than that just hanging out.
Have a great week.
